Renovation Celebration & Dedication October 21, 2023

On this Sabbath, the English and Spanish churches came together to celebrate the newly renovated sanctuary and all of the workers, supporters, and volunteers that made it happen. A special dedication was made on behalf of Deputy Adam Gibson, who lost his life in the line of duty in January 2021. Following worship, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch.

In Service Worship Will Resume April 3, 2021

Starting April 3, 2021 we will be resuming in-person worship with modifications. Please see the safety requirements listed below from October 24, 2020.

Sabbath School will be 1 hour starting at 9:30 am. Worship services will follow and be limited to 1 hour starting at 10:45 am.

In Service Worship Postponed Until Further Notice

On November 10th, it was announced that Sacramento County had entered the purple tier which means indoor worship service is no longer allowed until the county once again moves back into the red tier. Unfortunately, that will require us to go back to our Zoom worship service effective November 14th. We will be following the same format as before which provides an opportunity for our church family to find fellowship while we await the approval to meet back at church again.

In Service Worship Will Resume October 24, 2020

Starting October 24, 2020 we will be following the COVID-19 Industry Guidance for Places of Worship and Providers of Religious Services and Cultural Ceremonies as required by the Sacramento County Health Department. The Northern California Conference requires that we have a Coronavirus Safety Officer in place before we can open and Louis Pullen has agreed to fill that position. Along with Louis, we had many volunteers who gave the church a thorough deep cleaning.

Masks are required for all in attendance, with the exception of children 2 years of age and younger, and it is imperative that your mask covers both your nose and mouth at all times.

When you arrive please remain in your car and someone will come to check your temperature and ask you a few health questions. You will then be ushered in and asked to sit in a specific pew. Attendees will be dispersed throughout the sanctuary to give at least 6' distance between families. Please remind your children that they cannot go and sit with a friend or run around in the sanctuary.

Worship service will be limited to 1 hour starting at 9:45 am. Following the service you will be dismissed in an orderly fashion and asked to go to your car without mingling.

Spanish members are not able to social distance appropriately in their room, so we will be coordinating the use of our Sanctuary on Sabbath morning with a cleaning between the Spanish and English services. Spanish services will begin at 11:30 am and last one hour.

We are doing our very best to follow guidelines and our utmost concern is for the safety and health of you and your family. In the words of the Apostle Paul, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
